About Limerick Camera Club

The club is open to people of all abilities and seeks to help individuals develop and hone their photographic skills through discussions, demonstrations, workshops and club competitions. The club also participate in national competitions and on occasion take part in exhibitions.

The Club meets every Wednesday evening at 8pm from September through to May in the Mary Immaculate College, Courtbrack Avenue, Courtbrack, Limerick, Ireland Through the year the club holds regular:-

  • Workshops

  • Outings/Visits

  • Training Courses/Seminars

  • Visiting Speakers

Along with Wednesday night activities, a group of members has a regular mid week outing to locations within the region and have been know to venture as far as Kerry, Dublin, Tipperary, Offaly Cork and Clare.   The objective of the group is to take photographs, learn new locations, learn from each other and have a good lunch.   

The club membership fees are:

  • €135 for the year for waged or €85 and €50 per semester.

  • €120 for the year for unwaged or €80 and €40  per semester.

We know that joining a new club or society can be intimidating, but let us know when you are coming and a club member will meet you at the main reception Mary Immaculate College walk you through registration, and introduce you to other members of the club.
