Eimhear Collins Photography Night - Another you should not have missed !!!

At long last LCC got Eimhear Collins to visit the club and we were not disappointed.  Eimhear gave a very detailed overview of her photography covering her techniques, locations, war stories behind the pictures and finally printing.  She is a master at what she does and has produced a portfolio of images that any photographer would be proud off.   In addition to the presentation Eimhear brought a large number of mounted images to showcase her work.   It was a great night and well worth the wait.

For more information on Eimhears work visit her FB page and her website eimhearcollins.ie

The Ellen McDemot night - one you should not have missed

Last night Limerick Camera Club had the pleasure of hosting a Ellen McDermott night. Ellen gave an enlightening presentation of her work, how it evolved, her processing techniques, her shoot preparation and not forgetting the tax implications.    It was a great night and completely blurred the lines between photography and art. She has the ability of taking a simple head and shoulders shot and turning it into a work of art.

For more information on Ellen's work and workshops, visit her on FB
