Back 2 Basics is free to Members of Limerick Camera Club. This will be a Photography Course ran from our Club Suite in The Strand Hotel. Attendees will be required to pre-register and will find the sessions to be challenging yet rewarding and most importantly a bit of fun. Back To Basics is open to non-members at a fee of €80. However, if an individual would rather join our Club the annual fee is €135 for waged and €120 for non-waged which therefore forfeits the €80 fee.
Each Wednesday session will last about 60 minutes covering a specific topic each week and allow plenty of time for Q&As. On the second last Wednesday, we will all head out and about to a pre planned location where we will all apply the theory gathered into the practicalities of photography. Here, participants will also be given a challenge that should demonstrate their understanding of the previous six weeks. A presentation by each member, followed by a question and answer session will conclude the six week course. It is from here on that individuals who have joined the club will benefit from the support the Club offers following on from Back 2 Basics.
As part of the course we also have a Course WhatsApp group to enable learners to ask for support between sessions from club members as well as sharing experience with other attendees. This also serves as a place where users can submit images and receive critique.
