This week sees the start of the clubs Introduction to Photography course.
The course will run 7-8 in room 310, Mary Immaculate, every Wednesday for the next few weeks.
It is a practical photography course so bring along your camera and its manual.
This course is free to camera club members.
Oct 5th is also the first night of the monthly competition.

The competition has two sections;
Beginners, for those new to the club and photography
Open, for all others in the club a year or more.
Within each section there are three categories; people, places, things
The maximum print size is A4 or 8x12 inches and should be mounted on paper or card.
You may one print in each category. (e.g. 1 in people, 1 in places, & 1 in things)
October is a Colour print competition, save your monochrome prints for November.
Even if you don't have anything to enter come along as it is a fantastic opportunity to see the club members work on display.
October 12th is the first of the club photo walkabouts and will set off from the Curragower Pub on
Clancy Strand. We will also be setting a few challenges on the night.
